Upper Hurstville | Magazine St. Construction Update
Security District Board of Commissioners and Residents Association which work to maintain security and quality of life on the squares bounded by Magazine St., Exposition Blvd., Prytania St. & Nashville Ave. The Security district budget is funded by parcel fees on non exempt parcels, and the Resident's Association is funded by membership dues. Both boards are made up of property owners in the district who volunteer to serve.

Magazine St. Construction Project Update

The City of New Orleans, Department of Public Works is gearing up for the Magazine Street Reconstruction Project.

Phase I: Magazine St. from Nashville to East Dr. (the Park) is scheduled to start in Q3 of 2018 and is estimated to take ~1 year to complete

Phase II: Magazine St. from East Dr. to Broadway is scheduled to take place Q3 of 2017 and is estimated to take ~1 year to complete
