The Upper Hurstville Residents Association Board wants to make sure you are aware of an upcoming city council meeting currently scheduled for October 6 where the short term rental (STR) issue will be addressed. This is an important issue for our neighborhood and we believe it is critical that our city council know not only how much you care about this issue, but that you, the residents of our neighborhood, are paying attention to the council’s actions on this issue.

You can view your Board’s letter to the council on this issue at www.upperhurstville.com under Documents, as well as a link to the website for NOLA neighbors.com (http://nolaneighbors.com) which outlines some relevant policy points for you to consider.

We urge you to contact each and every one of your city councilmembers http://nolacitycouncil.com/meet/meet.asp?id=45 as to your feelings on this issue, via phone calls and/or email, between now and the city council meeting date of Thursday October 6.

Councilmembers’ email addresses are as follows:

shead@nola.gov
jasonwilliams@nola.gov
sgguidry@nola.gov
lcantrell@nola.gov
councildistrictd@nola.gov
jagray@nola.gov

Thank you,
The UHRA Board Members
