Upper Hurstville | Traffic Advisory – Magazine Street Area
Security District Board of Commissioners and Residents Association which work to maintain security and quality of life on the squares bounded by Magazine St., Exposition Blvd., Prytania St. & Nashville Ave. The Security district budget is funded by parcel fees on non exempt parcels, and the Resident's Association is funded by membership dues. Both boards are made up of property owners in the district who volunteer to serve.

Traffic Advisory – Magazine Street Area

Wallace C. Drennan Construction Company, working for Sewerage and Water Board, will repair a water main Sunday, September 3rd that will affect traffic flow while the roadway is being repaired.
Residents, businesses and motorists are advised that Magazine Street at the intersection of Nashville Avenue will be closed to all traffic for three days beginning at 7 a.m. Sunday, September 3, 2017 through Tuesday, September 5th at 7 a.m.
Traffic detour will be as follows:
-ON: Eastbound– Magazine Street; AT Henry Clay Avenue; DETOURED TO: Tchoupitoulas Street
-ON: Westbound- Magazine Street; AT Jefferson Avenue; DETOURED TO: St. Charles Avenue
-ON: Southbound-Nashville Avenue; AT St. Charles Avenue; DETOURED TO: Jefferson Avenue
-ON: Northbound- Nashville Avenue; AT Tchoupitoulas Street; DETOURED TO: Jefferson Avenue
