Security District Board of Commissioners and Residents Association which work to maintain security and quality of life on the squares bounded by Magazine St., Exposition Blvd., Prytania St. & Nashville Ave. The Security district budget is funded by parcel fees on non exempt parcels, and the Resident's Association is funded by membership dues. Both boards are made up of property owners in the district who volunteer to serve.

Residential Burglary – 1700 Block of State St.

NOPD Seeking Suspect in Residential Burglary on State Street

screen-shot-2016-10-04-at-1_32_13-pmNEW ORLEANS – A home in the 1700 block of State Street was burglarized on September 27, 2016, and the NOPD is asking for the public to assist in identifying and locating the person responsible, who was caught on surveillance video.
At about 2:50 a.m., surveillance video captured footage of an unknown male entering the residence and removing cash from a table. The subject, pictured below, then removed the memory card from the victim’s surveillance camera, in an attempt to hide his identity.
