Security District Board of Commissioners and Residents Association which work to maintain security and quality of life on the squares bounded by Magazine St., Exposition Blvd., Prytania St. & Nashville Ave. The Security district budget is funded by parcel fees on non exempt parcels, and the Resident's Association is funded by membership dues. Both boards are made up of property owners in the district who volunteer to serve.

Board Members of the Upper Hurstville Residents Association (UHRA) have been in contact with Chip Lavigne, President of Lavigne Baker Petroleum who own two of the three lots that make up the gas station site on Magazine and State (the former Shell station). A residential burglary was reported in the 6200 block of Camp Street on February 2 around 6:38 p.m.   The  resident's report to the Upper Hurstville patrol indicated that the side window of the home had been broken and a laptop computer was missing.   There is no further information at this time.  Anyone with information is asked to report it to the NOPD, 2nd District....
