Upper Hurstville | STR City Council Deadline Extended
Security District Board of Commissioners and Residents Association which work to maintain security and quality of life on the squares bounded by Magazine St., Exposition Blvd., Prytania St. & Nashville Ave. The Security district budget is funded by parcel fees on non exempt parcels, and the Resident's Association is funded by membership dues. Both boards are made up of property owners in the district who volunteer to serve.

City Council to Again Defer Vote on Short Term Rental Zoning Docket Vote Expected Oct. 20

NEW ORLEANS – The City Council intends to defer its vote on Zoning Docket 61/16, the City Planning Commission’s recommendations for regulating Short Term Rentals in the City of New Orleans, until the October 20 City Council meeting. Zoning Docket 61/16 appears on this Thursday’s Council meeting agenda following the action taken by the City Planning Commission (CPC) on August 9, but the deadline for Council action is October 24, 2016.
