Crime Concerns on the Rise

SECURITY REMINDERS

  • Light up your property.
  • Call the security patrol when arriving and departing home.
  • Remain vigilant and report anything suspicious immediately.
  • Leave nothing in you car.

CRIME CONCERNS

Crime has been a hot topic lately, with the City seeing an uptick in armed robberies and car-jackings.  We would like to remind and encourage all UH residents to make use of our security patrols when arriving and departing home.  The mobile phone number is 504-451-1614.

Information on incidents and crime statistics can be found on the NOPD WebsiteNOPD Facebook page and Interactive Crime Map.  Also, NextDoor.com as a good forum to find and exchange timely local information.  Most of all, we encourage you to talk to your neighbors!

CURBSIDE RECYCLING

Curbside recycling has resumed in UH!  Recycling will be picked up weekly on Thursdays for all of UH. Information and rules about recycling can be found HERE.

Garbage pickup in UH remains once-per-week, only on Fridays, except for addresses above Calhoun Street, which have pickup on Wednesdays.
