Reports of Vehicle Break-Ins

Several reports have been posted on NextDoor.com of car break-ins and armed robberies involving a silver Infiniti sedan occurring in multiple neighborhoods during various times of the day.  Several of these crimes were committed in the UHSD and AAZSD.  According to our patrol coordinator for our off-duty NOPD officers, one of the individuals was caught on Monday, 12/12/20.  The investigation is ongoing as there are additional suspects.

Please be aware of your surroundings at all times of the day and night.  Remember, our patrol is available 24/7.  Call them if you see anyone behaving suspiciously.  Call them to escort you from car to home (and vice-versa) especially if you have packages or groceries to unload or load into your car.  If you have not added them to your phone contact list, please do that now and mark the entry as a favorite so it’s always at the top of your list when you open it.  Stay safe for the holidays!
