Upper Hurstville |
Security District Board of Commissioners and Residents Association which work to maintain security and quality of life on the squares bounded by Magazine St., Exposition Blvd., Prytania St. & Nashville Ave. The Security district budget is funded by parcel fees on non exempt parcels, and the Resident's Association is funded by membership dues. Both boards are made up of property owners in the district who volunteer to serve.

LEAKE AVENUE REPAIRS The City has announced that a section of Leake Avenue between Broadway and Prytania Street (appx. four blocks, from Lambeth House to Carver Playground) will be closed in both directions and under repair until Spring of 2022.  The official detour route is via Broadway and St. Charles Avenue. The City has announced that curbside sanitation pick-up will be temporarily changed to once-a-week while post-storm cleanup is ongoing. Household garbage pickup in Upper Hurstville will be on Fridays, except for Exposition Boulevard and homes upriver from Calhoun Street which appear to have pickup on Wednesdays.
