Security District Board of Commissioners and Residents Association which work to maintain security and quality of life on the squares bounded by Magazine St., Exposition Blvd., Prytania St. & Nashville Ave. The Security district budget is funded by parcel fees on non exempt parcels, and the Resident's Association is funded by membership dues. Both boards are made up of property owners in the district who volunteer to serve.

Several reports have been posted on NextDoor.com of car break-ins and armed robberies involving a silver Infiniti sedan occurring in multiple neighborhoods during various times of the day.  Several of these crimes were committed in the UHSD and AAZSD.  According to our patrol coordinator for our off-duty NOPD officers, one of the individuals was caught on Monday, 12/12/20.  The investigation is ongoing as there are additional suspects.  Please be aware of your surroundings at all times of the day and night.  Remember, our patrol is available 24/7.  Call them if...

Attention Upper Hurstville Security District property owners,  Please be advised that 2020 UHSD parcel fee of $475.00 was inadvertently excluded from the property tax bills mailed out in December 2019. The City has added the $475 fee to the account balances of non-exempt property owners and will send an additional bill for the parcel fee as soon as possible.
